With the first Labour government in 14 years, over 300 new MPs and new stakeholders forming as political priorities take shape, there's a lot of change for anyone working in comms and influencing.

As a result, the National Housing Federation has created this conference for communication, public affairs, and PR professionals in the housing sector to make a difference and help rewrite the narrative. The focus is on developing strong resident engagement, effective communication plans, navigating the latest regulatory requirements and TSMs, and much more.

In the social housing sector influencing goes beyond persuasion, it’s about shaping policies and securing the necessary support to drive change that benefits residents and the wider public.

Residents are at the core of the social housing sector’s purpose and effective communication with those we serve is essential to build trust and fostering a sense of community.

Set for Tuesday 21 January 2025, the new NHF Comms & Influencing Conference and Exhibition promises to be a game-changer that will offer invaluable insights and tools for professionals looking to enhance their impact.

More than just an event

Attending the Comms & Influencing Conference and Exhibition is more than just professional development; it is a strategic imperative. By enhancing your ability to influence, crafting a compelling sector narrative, shaping public perception, and improving residents' communications you can significantly amplify your impact.

This conference is your chance to learn from experts, share best practices, and connect with peers, crucial for navigating complexities and driving meaningful change. Over the past few months, I've collaborated with key individuals from member organisations, residents, political parties, and our fantastic co-chairs, Emma Kiddle and Matt Rhodes, to create an engaging agenda. The process has been wonderful, and everyone is excited to come together in January.
